11 Months Old

Guess who turned 11 months old on Thursday:

Such a big girl. She recently upgraded to a new car seat:

And, much to her parents' delight, she has gotten the okay to stop drinking formula and start drinking whole milk. The transition has been pretty easy; she doesn't seem to miss formula one bit. Her favorite foods right now are strawberries, mandarin oranges, and Cheerios. She also is a big fan of juice in the sippy cup.

She's also started going to sleep so easily. We used to have to rock and sing for a good little bit before she would finally drift off, but now she just needs her blankie to snuggle and will lay in her crib and go right to sleep. She may be more keen to sleep at night now because she only naps once a day. Whatever it is, we'll take it!

Only a few more weeks till our sweet girl is one year old. Hard to believe!

In other Tucker news, the 80 degree weather is making us act summery:

Dark chocolate peanut butter ice cream...oh yeah. It was as good as the hype.

I am also in a spring cleaning-ish mood. I recently bought some microfiber cleaning cloths:

They are supposed to be uber useful. I tried them for several different tasks.

First, dusting:

I was impressed. The dust clung to the cloth without using Pledge. Like.

This was my next task:

Microfiber is supposed to clean glass & windows without leaving streaks. Although I wouldn't say these were exactly streak-free, they were way better than my old cleaning rags!

This was my final microfiber cleaning task:

Now, this picture isn't mine. It's from Real Simple, where I got the idea. But I did this and it worked GREAT! I hate cobwebs forming in my corners, but it's so much work to get the vacuum attachments out and drag it around the house sucking down the cobwebs. This was so easy. I did every corner in the house in less than 15 minutes.

So the  verdict on the new cleaning cloths = LOVE!
