It's New & It's Fun!

The pack & play as ball pit wasn't working out so well for our free-spirited girl. So we adapted:

She likes this much better. The freedom to enter and exit at will has been quite appealing.

Speaking of new things, look what Emma Grace can do:

She took her first consecutive steps on April 21, and has been getting better every day since then. She still looks a little like Frankenstein, but her confidence grows every day.

She's also begun talking a little bit. She says, "Who is it?", "What's that?", "Look at that!", and "Dada/Dado". Then every once in awhile, she breaks out something unexpected. Like the other day at Grammy's house. I had just gotten out her juice cup and put it on the counter. She pointed right at it and clearly said, "I want juice." She hasn't said it again since, but we know she can! Our sweet girl isn't a baby anymore. We have full-fledged walking, talking toddler on our hands.
