October Fun!

October was full of lots of fun activities for our family. I am finally starting to feel better (hooray!), which means more events and more pictures! That's right; get ready for a photo bomb.

Jacob has been playing in a kickball league this fall. Their team was pretty good, and it was fun to watch. Emma Grace enjoyed the bleachers more, though.

She really wanted to be on the field, but she didn't quite meet the age requirements.

We also took a visit to the zoo with Jacob's family.

Emma Grace thought this was a swimming pool.

50 degree weather did not deter her from one last attempt to get in the "pool."
This was a very good zoo visit. The animals were out and active (except for the sleeping hippos and panda!). Emma Grace's favorite part, though, was the ducks in the farm area.

I forgot to mention before that Jacob's kickball league had theme nights. On Redneck night, this was Jacob:

That's right; that's the man I married. So proud right now.

Emma Grace got a bad cold and ear infection in the middle of the month and was snotty and coughing for about 10 days. Here's a shot of our little invalid.

We also attended a couple weddings: my cousin Michael's and my friend Hannah's.

Emma Grace made a friend.

And then it was Halloween time! We went to Zoo Boo with Easton's family:

We met a minion!

Somebody was worn out that night.

And soon after Zoo Boo came the actual day of Halloween. We went to the Fall Festival at Bellevue and Emma Grace had a great time.

And, of course, we had another appointment for Baby 2 and found out that all was well at 16 weeks.

Stay tuned for a blog post sometime next week (hopefully) revealing whether #2 is a girl or boy!
