*Addendum - this post was supposed to be published tomorrow morning, but I accidentally forgot to schedule it. So, apply all this to tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 23).
Bring on that second trimester! Today I am officially, fully 12 weeks (3 months) pregnant. I had a slightly messed up calculation before; I would have thought today began my 12th week. But, after some thinking and a little research (and a look at my last sonogram), I have realized that I have actually completed 12 weeks. Here's to the (hopeful) end of morning sickness! It's too early yet to say if it's over, but I have high hopes.
BT has grown to approximately the size of a lime. This week, he or she will begin developing reflexes in the little joints, and soon fingers will be curling and mouth will be moving. Apparently, BT is sensible of surroundings; I have read that if I poke my abdomen, BT will respond with movement (that I am still unable to feel).
I'll be going to the doctor again on Monday. No plans for an ultrasound that day; however, should one happen, you can be sure it will be posted on here. I'm looking forward to an update on BT.
Not much else to report, I guess. In the past week, I have found 2 pairs of my pants that don't require me to use my belly band. One of these is a pair of athletic pants. Sigh. I don't think I'm looking bigger at all yet, but the pants don't lie! I had my worst bout of morning sickness yet beginning last Monday. Several continuous days of bad nausea, followed by what I think may have been a migraine on Sunday and Monday. Eesh. Hopefully, that's the worst of it just getting out of my system. That's all to report for now!
