Moving Right Along

We are at 22 weeks - on the downhill slope now towards due date! Emma Grace is approximately the size of a spaghetti squash right now, and weighs approximately a pound! Her tiny little baby teeth are developing under her gums (can't wait till those come in...) and her eyes have formed, although they currently have no pigment. I'm thinking she'll inherit her parents' brown eyes, though.

Our little girl is quite the acrobat. She moves all the time, which is so strange and wonderful to feel. One of my favorite things to do is lie on my back and put my hand on my stomach and feel her kick and squirm. This morning was even more special, because Jacob and I were able to watch her moving from the outside. It was very weird but very enchanting to watch my stomach move up and down as she wiggled around.

To conclude today's blog post, here are some pictures from Emma Grace's ultrasound on Nov. 22. As you can see, she likes to kick.
