Only 9 weeks to go! This week, Emma Grace hit 31 weeks. She weighs a little over 3 pounds and is between 16 and 18 inches long. Our girl might not get much longer, but she should put on another 3 to 5 pounds in the next 9 weeks. Her brain has been developing rapidly; she can now process information, track light, and use each of her five senses. She's apparently supposed to be sleeping more, but I'm not sure she actually does. She still moves pretty much all the time.
As Emma Grace gets bigger, my breathing area seems to be getting smaller! I'm looking forward to this little one dropping sometime in the next few weeks so I don't feel constantly out of breath.
That's about all to report for this week on our little one. She seems to be continuing along happily, and we are getting things in order and trying to prepare for her arrival. Here are a couple belly pictures of this past Friday at a family birthday party and pictures of one of our first gifts - a diaper cake!
