Update from Doctor Visit

Since we are rapidly approaching Emma Grace's due date, I decided that I would just start updating the blog anytime we have new information to give about our little one. Today we had our 39-week doctor visit, and although mom has still made no progress in the dilation department, it was a good visit. We got to have an ultrasound of our baby girl! She was so cute, kicking her feet and sucking her thumb. They said she's a petite princess, measuring around 6 lbs., 10 oz. Of course, ultrasounds can be off slightly, so that's just an estimate. Everything was looking good--her heartbeat is going strong and she's still moving a lot. We have an appointment for next Monday (sigh), but I'm hoping she decides to make her appearance before then! Below are our most recent ultrasound pics. I know they're hard to decipher, but they are shots of her little profile while she sucks her thumb. You can see her hand and one of her feet curled up by her face.
