WAIT, What Happened to June?

I can't believe it's July! June went by so quickly that I'm not convinced it was ever here. This was quite a busy month for our family. We are involved in 2 softball leagues and 1 basketball league (read between the lines - overcommitted). This is also the busy season for student ministry. I had to leave Emma Grace overnight for the first time EVER. Tear, tear.

I think she wanted to come.

I went to Middle School Camp for 4 days, and Jacob was left to handle the little girl (with the help of both grandmas). We all survived, but it's nice having things back to normal. We much prefer all being together!

In other happy June news, my Paw Paw fixed Emma Grace's little piano:

This was one of her favorite birthday presents, and we were so sad when it broke. But thankfully, it was just rusted battery terminals. Easy fix!

We tried out another of Emma Grace's birthday presents the other day:

She wasn't super into it. But Mommy enjoyed it! Next time we'll let the water warm up a little before jumping in!

And our final big June accomplishment...

We bought a kitchen table! This is our first purchase of furniture since being married (except for nightstands...we don't really count those). We are planning to redo our kitchen a little bit, and are so excited to start!

I'd love to show you a picture of the table, but unfortunately that will have to wait until July. :)
