The end of summer has been an exciting, enjoyable time for the Tucker household. I didn't have to go out of town anymore - yay! Emma Grace and I got to enjoy a lot more together time.
I love these rare snuggly moments with her. She is definitely a go-go-go sort of girl. She has learned how to escape from her stroller, climb into chairs and onto the coffee table, and she is almost tall enough to open doors. Dear Lord, don't let her grow anymore for awhile!
When she's not climbing, running, or escaping from something, Emma Grace's new favorite activity is to watch Despicable Me (her favorite movie) from the blue chair she has claimed as her own.
Which Mommy is totally okay with because she happens to be lying on the couch a lot these days. I'm sure all of you who read this blog already know, but just in case you don't:
Emma Grace is going to be a big sister in April! Her new sibling is due four days before her birthday. :/ Hopefully that won't bother them in years to come.
We've seen our new little one and heard the heartbeat briefly. I'd post a picture, but you honestly can't see anything at all. We were only 6 weeks at that point, so the baby was teeny tiny. Tomorrow we will be 8 weeks.
That is really our biggest news for August. Once morning sickness hit around 5 1/2 weeks, Mom was out for the count and we didn't really do too much! I'm looking forward to the end of September and the beginning of the second trimester.
I guess that's all from the Tuckers for this month! We'll keep you updated on our little lives as they keep going along!
