Movement!

Most exciting news of the week: I felt the baby move! I've been feeling some little flutterings in the belly regions for awhile, but nothing that I could absolutely be sure was the baby. But yesterday, that changed! I felt a little pop, distinct from any other movement. Just like a teeny tiny kick.  And later, I felt a second one. So exciting to begin feeling this little thing!

Today marks the end of week 16. BT is roughly the size of an avocado:

BT has begun growing teeny toenails, and little eyes and ears are moving toward their final positions.  BT's little heart has started pumping 25 quarts of blood through that tiny little body. BT can hear us when we talk, and those little eyes are able to see, if they could open.

That's about all from the wonderful world of Tucker pregnancy.  As soon as I have a belly to show, I'll post a belly pic. There's a little one there right now, but it looks more like fat than baby.  Hopefully soon we'll have a baby bump to let the world know about our little one!
