24 weeks, and all is looking good on the pregnancy front. Emma Grace is back to her steady kicking and tumbling, and seems to be getting bigger every day. She's approximately eight and a half inches long now (although I'm not sure how they know that when babies seem to be constantly curled up). Her little brain is starting to develop and grow, along with her taste buds. If what I like to eat during pregnancy is any indication, then she will like potatoes, cheese and salt. She's supposed to gain six ounces or so per week in the next few weeks. She's also starting to sprout little eyelashes, eyebrows and hair - I'm guessing these will be dark, although we won't find out for quite awhile!
Our next ultrasound and doctor appointment is next Monday. They have to finish measuring Emma Grace, and we get to see her again on screen! I hope she's a little calmer this time. I'm not going to drink a Coke again, that's for sure. She's active enough without that. I'm so excited to get more pictures of our baby girl!
Jacob and I went to Target to complete our baby registry on Monday, and while there we happened to find our baby bedding on clearance! So went ahead and picked it up for a great price. It is one of the first things we've bought for her, so it was very exciting! Also, registering was a lot of fun. I may have gone a little overboard with all the cute stuff, but I did try to be practical.
That's all for now! We'll keep you updated on the life and times of Emma Grace Tucker!
