Well, today we have officially hit 25 weeks! Sweet Emma Grace is approximately 1 1/2 lbs. and 13 1/2 inches long. Her hair is continuing to grow, and now has both color and texture! Too bad we don't get to find out what it looks like until April. Sigh. Her little lungs are growing, too, getting ready for taking her first breath.
We got to see our girl on Monday (I'll post ultrasound pics sometime next week), and she was acting like a baby! She yawned, played with her toes, and kept rolling away from the ultrasound tech. Everything looked good at the appointment, which was good to hear. She's still quite an active little thing, which makes me think she might have a lot of Daddy in her.
This week, I'll be starting to work on the nursery and as it comes along I'll post pictures. So excited to start getting that room in order finally!
Today, my mom pulled a box of my old baby clothes out of the attic and I was able to go through and take some that were still in good shape. Emma Grace is now outfitted with a few precious dresses, as well as some little cardigans, hats and booties. I also bought her first official "girl" outfit today (all previous purchases were gender-neutral), and can't wait till she gets to sport it.
April seems far away, but 15 weeks is really not that long. In fact, it sounds really close! But the closer it gets, the more I'm looking forward to meeting our girl!
