I cannot believe it, but we are down to the final trimester. Today marks 27 weeks, meaning I have just 13 weeks left until delivery. Wow.
It also means that Emma Grace is approximately 15 inches long and weighing 2 pounds. Her little brain is continuing to develop, as well as her teeny lungs. She's still quite active - most days I can feel her and see her kicking under my shirt.
Exciting for this weekend - we're going to paint the nursery! Friday & Saturday will be a paint-a-palooza at the Tucker household as we tackle our bedroom and Emma Grace's room. Anyone who wants to drop by and help at any point would be greatly appreciated. ; ) Once the nursery is painted, I'll start putting up some pictures because it will finally be able to be somewhat decorated!
As for other baby preparations we've made, I did purchase my first bottle of Tide Free detergent. No more perfumes or dyes for awhile, I guess. Unless Jacob's clothes really, really need it. I have also picked up an umbrella stroller and changing pad secondhand - score. I would like to be buying more, but I'm trying to be patient (and frugal!).
I've been researching cloth diapers, as well, and have pretty much decided to go with Econobum and Flip diapers. Both brands have affordable starter packs and pretty good reviews. I hope to buy those sometime soon and begin practicing my folding technique. If anyone knows of any other good, cheap brands that work well, let me know!
